There is a basic need to instruct the viewer as to why a middle aged man would be spending his time looking at images from outer space and believing that there is more to them then the mundane.  I am of above average intelligence, my IQ was 115 in the seventh grade.  I was never an over achiever preferring to sample as much as life had to offer rather than knuckle under and study hard to get those good grades.  I skated through school with a B average when I could have easily had the A.  I was always interested in the unknown and fascinated by everything old.

I was an avid Sci-Fi buff and watched everything I could get in front of as well as reading the best available books and stories.  In 1973 while visiting a friend who wishes to be nameless in this recounting, I was turned on to VonDaniken.  My friend you see had a close encounter ,  then when trying to investigate this encounter he was visited by the MIBs.  His story was so real and compelling to me that I was hooked from there forward.  But what was I hooked on?  The UFO genre to me was always too much of the fringe element.  Way too many wackos claiming too many things I just couldn't accept.  So over the years I began to watch and read less and less Sci-Fi since I felt that there was an element of fantasy from those sources that would always creep into my mind as I pursued my interests.

My general attention over the years did turn more to the study of ancient history and I found myself enthralled by the Sumerians, Egyptians, Mayans and anything so connected.  That was the thing you know the connection.  I began to believe that we indeed were not the first here on Earth. That God in his infinite wisdom and eternity of existence would not have given a mere 5,000 years to this human endeavor.  Rather it has been worked and re-worked both here and anywhere else that could support life.  I cannot imagine it being any other way.  That means we can find very ancient ruins here on Earth but by extension we should be able to find them anywhere that once could have supported life as we know it.

Enter the internet.  I had been on the net almost from the beginning I actually had a dial-up that only displayed text pages at one time. I recall when the Pathfinder made it's Martian landing how riveted I was to the TV and I began to look about the net for more information.  That was the origin of Starjim.  I accessed the NASA database and I couldn't believe my eyes.  Right there in front of me was a literal junk yard.  I was astounded and excited.  I began to do crops of images, close-ups, work color and greyscale and most important of all I began to look around for others that already were on to this stuff.  That was not easy I can tell you.  I wrote to many webmasters, to people who were doing research and to the big names in the community.  Some were polite enough to respond but most just ignored me. Enter Paul McLeod.  I found his site and couldn't believe how much material he had assembled. So I sent him a couple of images and what he did next would change my life. He put my images up on his website.

Now I really had a problem, I wasn't all that confident in my own image work yet, and I had no idea how to assemble a web site, get a server, write code etc. etc. etc. I can tell you that I learned very quickly.  Within just  a few short months I partnered up with a few good people and together we launched the Anomaly Hunters where I now spend my time and effort running a forum, assembling group studies and helping anyone that asks to get better at what we need to do to get to the ultimate goal as expressed originally to me by Rob Paxton...."Ulitmate Disclosure".

I ask the viewer to have one thing when they enter here, an open mind.  I am totally amazed by what I have encountered since starting this little hobby of mine.  First the steadfastness of science. Science doesn't move at a snails pace it seemingly moves backward.  Once a theory is proposed and accepted it is impossible to even bring any contrary idea to the table for serious consideration. Science should be constantly challenging its' theories. Once a theory is accepted is the time when it should be questioned the hardest.  In my opinion it is the only way to push the envelope of learning. A quote I heard recently but don't know the source fits nicely here about science... "You can't find something when you don't want to..."

Another  thing I have encountered is a high degree of animosity.  I really don't understand why some people cannot tolerate the existence of another point of view. The easiest way to diffuse another point of view is to ignore it but there are many who spend an inordinate amount of time (more than I spend actually doing this) trying to refute, attack, punish, vilify any point of view that doesn't fit their idea of the norm. What you will find on this website is my personal work. Mainly bits and pieces of stuff that has accumulated over the four plus years of image work. The main portion of my personal work lies at the Pathfinder landing site.

Navigation is provided on every page to the entire site. Some pages are done as galleries others in a static format when a particular study required more organization and flow.  Have fun keep that open mind and remember I'm not really sure myself what is there but I know what looks anomalous.
