A New Idea For An Old Area

Many have looked at this area, concentrating on the individual elements here, the 'Tile' for instance has been well analyzed. I get the impression, taking the area as a whole that this was a set of steps. I also note the many stones and rocks that are simply geometric in shape. I just don't know what Geological process causes right angles to form so repeatedly in the same area.
